Help with MASH Instancing (MASH: Mesh mode only accepts meshes)

I'm trying to instance a tree that is an ass. file. Each time i try to instance it suing MASH I get the same warning. I can't find any information online how to get around this problem.

For .ass files i would go with Bifrost.

Or even better use USD files with Bifrost.

Thanks, tried that still didn't work. I'm only able to use MASH with actual geometry which is useless for creating a forest.

Show us the Bifrost Graph. We can debug it.

No matter what I do MASH is asking for mesh only, it's not recognizing instances.

'll try using Bifrost instead but MASH looked like what I needed.

Select Instancer instead of Mesh in the MASH options and apply.
