Sorry for the late reply. I just mean that I want to be able to drag the face using the Move Tool so that when it collides with the face of another object which I specify it will stop so that there are no open seams between the two faces.

Hi all. I was wondering if there was a good way to snap a face on an object to another face, whether it be to a face of that same object or a different object. Up until now I've been doing this by getting the needed coordinate of a face using the component editor and pasting that coordinate into all the vertices of the face I need snapped, but I'm sure there's another way that I'm just having trouble searching for. Thanks for your time.

It's called the Snap Together Tool. It is under the Modify title bar menu.

I saw the Snap Together tool but I can't get it to do that. I know it can be used to move the whole object, but I just want it to expand a face to snap to another face without moving the object. Is it possible to do that with the tool?

What exactly do you mean by "expand"?

Hi!

Move every vertex of the face and use Vertex Snapping (Snap to points) instead.

There are a few ways I can think of to do what I think you are asking but probably not exactly what you want.

The first would be to make the object you want to snap to "Live" then select the face you want to move. This however will more than likely distort the face.

The second would be to select the individual vertices and snap them to corresponding vertices on the other mesh.

The third way would be to extract the face from the object and make sure you un-group it. Then use the "snap together tool" to snap that face to the other mesh then select that face and the original object. Combine them and bridge the face to the open hole on original mesh.
