Since Maya 2018, there is a long-awaited feature called "Stack Similar" (or "Stack Similar Shells" if you're in the Modify tab).<BR /><BR />But it keeps stacking on one particular shell, even though I'd like to stack on the other one. I had the impression that this depends on the selection order, but sometimes Maya just doesn't care. If I want to stack shell A on shell B, it stacks shell B on shell A, no matter in which order I selected them.<BR />I also attached a test fbx where it's just impossible for me to stack the small shells on the big shell. It always happens the other way around.<BR /><BR />This is a big problem for me, since I work in the interactive department, and can't layout duplicate shells. (I layout the original ones in correct 3d size, so I need to automatically adapt the duplicates' sizes.)<BR /><BR />Am I overseeing something? I didn't find an option or something.
