Is this particle system possible in maya?

Hi, i have a question. I want to do particles with trailes (As in the picture) is it possible to do with Maya and Arnold. Iam a bit struggling with it.

Hi!

Yes this is possible. Here a very simple example.

Just use one or more particle emitter and apply one or more forces.

There are many tutorials out there and all fields (you can also use fluids as force) are well documented in Maya and Arnold online help.

Hi!

I just searched for

particle maya fields

and found plenty of videos.

There will be no tutorial to create this specific scene, you have to create this on your own by using what you learned about the particle tools (emitter and fields).
