How to disable xray selection

Hello i dont talk about the xray option i have just installed maya and i can't find how to deactivate the selection of non-visible faces when i select parts of my object as if the xray was activated, the same when i paint it passes through and ends up on the back parts, thanks you

Edit : I found it was because i disabled camera based selection

Hi,

I think the option you are looking for is Camera Based Selection which can be set from the Modeling Toolkit or Preferences.

Hello yes that was it thank you because i modified the option on a tutorial instruction i didn't really know its function
