Maya wont send email for free student license

Hi. I've been trying to download Maya 2019 for students, who get it for free, but it wouldn't send the verification email. So I tried using a different email other than my university one, but I don't think you get it for free if you do that. And I know it's not a problem with my computer. The university uses outlook for email so maybe that's the problem?? I don't know.... That doesn't make sense though.

I don't know what to do... and I need this for college. I could really use someone's help. But I'll ask my professors. Maybe they'll know??? Hopefully?????

Never mind. I got it to work by using one of my gmail accounts, exiting, going to autodesk's educational community, and installing it from there. It took a couple hours but it finally installed. Only issue now is.... it won't quit. Keeps giving me an error message saying that Maya can't quit if it's busy.

But I haven't even done anything yet??

Never mind I don't have the student license it gave me the 30 day trial when I specifically went to the educational license! What is happening

Final Update: I think.

I figured out where my serial number was. It was on the same page that you identify your operating system and stuff. I guess I just didn't see it. But yeah, I didn't hit install since I already did that. I just opened Maya back up and when it asked Trial or Activate I clicked Activate and input my serial number from there.

Now all is good.

Hopefully someone else finds this and maybe my experiences can help someone else out.

Obviously I'm not tech savvy. YET heheheh.. I want to get better at dealing with computers. This was just a basic installation. Pray for my last two brain cells.
