Howdy internet

Didn't see a post on this so thought I'd inquire. Using Maya 2018, Windows 10.

Getting a long stream of 'Warning "(rig filename):multiplyDivide16": basicExpression has encountered a divide by zero. Result is unpredictable.' in the script editor.

Curious what this is and what usually causes it? I'm sure I'm at fault somehow haha and thankfully for this one I'm happy to start a new scene, not losing loads.

It sounds like what it says 🙂 multiplyDivide nodes can divide, and if you tell it to divide 1 by 0, it'll throw an error since you're dividing by zero. You can trigger this by just creating a multiplyDivide, setting it to "divide" mode, and setting input2X to 0. Did you create the multiplyDivide nodes yourself, or are you using rigging scripts that created them?

Ah, all logical things! Unfortunately, it wasn't I who rigged it but I shall certainly pass that on for investigating, I thank you for your speedy reply~
