SET key doesn't add keys

Updated to Maya 2020.2 yesterday, now i cannot set key anymore, i have tested this in multiple clean scenes on any type of object, joint, curve - you name it ! and it fails to do so. autokey function works fine but set key doesn't. Autodesk - you tire me 😞

I did, it doesn't work and It seems to me that hotkey is dead, meaning, update killed S shortcut, now, i dunno how to check for that and try and assign it back again. 😞

so, y, googled - how to manually assign the shortcut key, found it and retyped S ( since it already was listed there as a shortcut but didn't properly register ) tried it now and it works, so,i guess i'd call this fixed . for anyone who has the same problem : windows tab - setting/preffs - hotkey editor - search by hotkey - press S, then you should be able to see little box with key in it, just retype S in and you should be good to go. Silly
