Hi!

I am not sure what you mean with "result between them is very different".

You have one local value (per follicle) and one global value (per hairSystem).

If you want to adjust the stiffness globally then just use the attributes in hairSystem.

With the ramp of the Stiffness Scale you can create any required stiffness value at a certain part of the hair curve, so I don't understand what you need more.

Hi! I can't found that parameter in hearSystem attribute edditor. Where is it or maybe it's renamed?

Hi!

This looks like from an older version of Maya.

You can find this attribute in the FollicleShape node.

(Follicle Attributes -> Per Follicle Overrides -> Dynamics Overrides -> Stiffness)

So if am correct i have to orerride dynamics for particular follicle to use stifness? Cause in previous versions i have seen you don't have to do that - it affects all follicles.

Hi!

No, that's not needed, you can also adjust the stiffness globally in your hairSystemShape by using Stiffness Scale.
