hi, I've recently installed the Maya software version 2020 on my Mac desktop, however I keep receiving this error. code :

Fatal Error. Attempting to save in /var/folders/21/2ynlmh3n47x9xpblbkn82q_00000gn/T/ambarrie.20201025.2007.ma

I google it and found an article about resetting the preferences by changing the name of the pref folder however this still did not work as when I tried to open Maya after I still got the same error message above.

my Mac desktop specs are : iMac (27-inch, Late 2009), processor 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, memory

16 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, graphics ATI Radeon HD 4670 256 MB.

any help would be appreciated as I need to use the software for university. my first time installing and receiving message soon as I opened it.
