Cant rename using illegal characters

I have used illegal characters before on namespaces but sometimes i cant rename them with out getting the error saying that im using illegal characters, just wondering how i can stop getting this error or is there some way to bypass this.

So you are trying to create a namespace with illegal characters? Or you need to know what illegal characters to avoid?

If you want the former can I ask why? There are a great many reasons why you should not do that. And if you are working in a pipeline you really shouldn't do it.

As for what is an isn't an illegal character, and how to actually use them in your scene. Check out this page:

But again, I urge you not to create any nodes of references with illegal nodes, this kind of thing breaks pipelines.
