Is there any way to change button colors?

Hi. I've searched the net high and low, and according to what I've found, and what someone told me on a YouTube comment, changing the background color of buttons in the Maya UI is either not possible or you have to locate the image and change it yourself in Photoshop.

I'm referring to the Translate, Rotate, and Scale buttons on the left side, plus any other background color of highlighted or active buttons or similar in the UI above the shelf or whenever any of them are selected.

Does anyone know if it's really impossible or how do to do it if you can?

Hi, If you browse for (C:)>Programs>Autodesk>Maya2022>icons, you should find all .png used for the icons, and by Photoshopping and replacing the file with the same name you should get the result permanently .But if you want to change the background color only when the tool is selected i think it would take some coding acces to the u.i effects.

Let me know if you try the first method!
