I just switched from Maya 2020 to Maya 2022 and when I attempted to use normal-based mapping in the uv editor I received the following error message

"// Error: file: C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2022/scripts/others/texNormalProjection.mel line 82: Invalid path 'polyTexturePlacementPanel1'."

I deleted my preferences but that did not fix the issue. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

I uninstalled through add or remove programs and did a fresh install, but it did not fix the issue.

I was looking at the mel script mentioned in the error message and the line giving the error involves the active panel. I tried using both normal-based mapping options in the UV editor and both gave the error. However, using the normal-based mapping button in the UV editor dropdown menu above the shelfs does work correctly. I attached an image showing the options which do not work marked in red and the one that does work marked in green.
