your second video is getting there.

I agree, you shouldn't have to change gravity to get what you want, but until we get a better viscosity model incorporated into bifrost you will have to make do with what we have.

If you want to get a faster initial pour, remember you can animate the gravity channel. You could gradate it from fast (initial pour) to slow (globulation)

The reference video is great but only for a particular case.

honey pours different based on its age. As it gets older it starts to crystalize which affects its viscosity.

brand new honey pouring in a house with no air condition in florida in August will pour differently than honey poured in a home in Quebec with a thermostat set to 20C in February. Its all relative to the environment right.

Your emission looks like its just one clump (non continuous). Is there a reason for that?

Looking at the first video I can see there is a noticable distance between the liquid and the colliding object. Is the collider set to solid? Whats the thickness on the collider set to? 1?

Like I said, the second video is getting there.

Looking at the scene objects, I see there is a model that looks like a honey stick. Is your intent to animate and render a shot of a honey stick dipping into a jar of honey and dragging the honey out? Or do you just want to pour honey onto the honey stick, have it flow around the head of the stick and then flow into the bowl? Just as the scene is setup.
