Rendered nHair in different place then Hardware view

Okay so I am making an elec toothbrush and am faced with some issues with my bristles. The bristles were made using nHair. The problem that I am having is that the rendered version is different from the playback version. When the toothbrush moves the bristles move as if there is a double transformation issue. However in the hardware playback mode the paint strokes aren't doing this. So how can the paint strokes be in one place on the hardware display but be in another place in the rendered version? Can't wrap my head around it. I have linked the playback, render and outline for view. There are only three ctrls, the Brush head ctrl and the right and left bristle ctrl used solely for the rotation of the bristles. The parent control, brush head, is where all the transform animations happen. Also the grps called geo soucre are the geos where the nhairs are coming from. Any help would be appreciated!

Playback - https://osaintilien55-gmail.tinytak...MzkwXzIyNTE2OTM
Rendered - https://osaintilien55-gmail.tinytak...MzgzXzIyNTE2NjU
Outline - http://postimg.org/image/9ufa07kmx/

Just saw your animations, allthough caching the nhair would fix it, I think the real problem has something to do with how you parented the Animation Curves. One or both animation curves are directly parented to your main controller.
So instead of parenting your controller, you should parent to a locator, your controller needs to be placed in this locator, that way, there are basicly no secondary animations going on with these controllers.

I can't say for sure, cause I'm rendering at the moment as well and i couldn't open your outline picture.

which render engine did you use ?
Try to see if another render engine will give you the same results.
Could be that one render-engine detcts the secondary animation curves, but the other doesn't.

It's hard to say.

btw the best thing and i never seen any weird stuff with it,

attach your hair to a mesh skinn the mesh to a joint and attach your controllers to this joint.
That way, you allways leave the hair & mesh for what it is.
You could also parent the mesh.

Basicly, you can do any combinations, but never transform the hairsystem or pfhair or parent it. Just put it in a group to clean up your scene.

mental ray should work out of the box without any hickups.
But i'm using renderman for the last 2 years.

Best is to look at the way everything is parented as said above.
Anyway have fun over there.
