Maya 2017.5

I have put a Referenced Character with a HIK rig in the Time Editor with Mocap Data on the rig.
I created an additive layer in the Time Editor. I set the additive clip as "set Keyable layer"

Now I want to key and fix all of the fingers as an additive layer. This does not work Every time I select a new finger the keys disappear from the timeline. I then have to go back to the time editor and select the clip and then see the keys.
Also Autokey does not work. Which means I have to hit s key for every joint and it is not recognizing different "body parts"

Any Ideas would be Greatly appreciated maybe my workflow is wrong.

Thanks

Jon
