&lt;P&gt;This is no bug.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2D operations don’t look at your model.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Because you have created a open loop it things it has enough room to go outside the selected geometry.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Try a 3D pocket and select only the area that you like to Mill.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You will see that a 3D opeeation is looking at your model.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Hope this&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, I couldn't find answer in forum or in HELP of Inventor CAM..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is this some kind of bug or I just need to input correct parameters somewhere? Or maybe there is another macro in CAM which avoids milling unwanted parts?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
