Rotate inventor Balloon text

Is there a way to choose what way inventor balloon text is orientated?

See attached image....

The text rotates per the orientation of the item that is being ballooned. But the text flips 180 degrees depending on what side of the balloon is on. Generally in a drawing, if a balloon text is not horizontal, it will be rotated 90 degrees in ONE direction, not TWO directions.

The text can be rotated via the Text styles in the Styles Editor, then from there you can create the 3 different Text styles via rotation, then set the different Balloon styles based on Text rotation. From there you'll have to resort to an iLogic or VBA dialog to change the Balloon style automatically.

I think the best way to determine Balloon style will be by comparing the positions of the arrow leader attached to the part and the Balloon itself. Then through the comparison of the X and Y positions given to you, you can find out which X/Y quadrant the leader is and change the Balloon style based on the result.

Unfortunately I don't have much experience in Drawing automation as I do in part/assembly automation, I'm sure someone else will come along and help out or you can figure it out yourself. Good Luck.

To specify rotation of balloon text, needs edit respective text style of balloon style. Go to Annotate tab -> Click on "Edit Layers" button which displays below window.

I was aware of this style. When I update it in the sytle library it doesn't seem to do anything.....

The test still appears horizontal for existing balloons and new balloons.

It Seems that Balloon text is adhering text orientation or configuration in Inventor 2019. Can you please verify the same in Inventor 2019?
