Get Inventor HSM to generate G-Code for our CNC machine

Hi,

We are designing a 5 axis Oxy Fuel metal cutting CNC machine. Want to know whether is it possible to customize Inventor HSM to genrate the G - Code as per our machine's design, or is it possible using any other autodesk product.

Basically we need a CAM software that generates the G-Code as per our CNC machine. It is not a Robotic Arm nor a five axis miller. Our machine is just like a CNC plasma Sheet metal cutting machine which has three axis X Y Z. We have just add the functionality for the torch to rotate in different angles i.e. A and B so we can cut different structural steels such as beams, channels , angles etc. is it possible to customize Inventor HSM CAM to generate CNC G code and toolpath as per our machine?

Yes, it would be. You would need a unique post processor to accomplish this. Are you using a stock controller for the CNC machine?

No we are not using any stock controller as of now.

Also, please let me know which post processor shall we use for this purpose.
