Ilogic rules password protected

Hi all,

My managers are asking if there is any way to protect the Ilogic rules we use to automate our workflow, from copying.

We would like the users to be able to use them, but not able to view the text or copy the txt file we store in the server.

Generally iLogic rules can't be protected, because in background are compiled and executed. But you can compile your rules to .NET DLL and execute them from there. I use this workflow for testing purposes for many years and it works perfectly.

Or you can create your own addin and install them to the users. This is much more powerful then iLogic. And IMHO it is easier then compile iLogic to DLL.

Do you know if there is a guide online on how to transform an ilogic rule to addin.

I don't know where to start, but I could have a go if there is a good guide.
