My name is SW Park.
I have a question about the Inventor iLoigic.
I'm trying to study iLogic, but there are a lot of missing materials. And programming is difficult.
Can you recommend a site where I can learn iLogic? And if you know of a community that shares well-crafted iLogic, can you tell me?

Hi!

Don't study it, just check some youtube videos with the basics.
First, find a goal, and then, try to do it, searching info, consulting inventor API help, ask for help, etc.
You will learn along the process.

Hi @psw1125. This forum called "Inventor iLogic, API & VBA Forum" is one of the best places to search for and find existing iLogic rules for doing all kinds of tasks. If you use the main search box at the top of this forum (not the one beside the Autodesk sign, but the one just above the forum posts, you can often find ton's of stuff at least similar to what you may be trying to do, if not the same. Another resource to check out might be the Autodesk University. If you go to their website, then search for "iLogic" in their search box, you will also find lots of useful information that is specifically laid out for learning/teaching purposes. And sometimes when businesses/companies purchase their Autodesk software from an authorized Autodesk distributor, those places often have service contracts with them and they can provide valuable resources for training and learning related to Autodesk stuff. That may be another avenue you could explore, if it is available to you. IMAGINiT and Hagerman are two such places, but I'm sure there are lots of similar businesses out there like that.

Between this and internet browsing you should be well on your way. Really you have to start with a basic item like documents and started familiarizing yourself with there methods and samples. I would have done this the opposite way and look at the samples first on the forum and ran them on documents based on the functionality users were looking to achieve. Creating a rule from scratch has that added benefit of repetition, in-depth understanding🐿(maybe not at first) spelling 📖 mistakes (if your lucky) and as a result lots of learning opportunities.
