No Named Geometry in Flatpattern

Hello,

In the FlatPattern I can not add NamedGeometry. Id like to give my faces and edges a name so I can create dimensios of it. one entity to the other. normallly I get the enitites with the following line of code. But this is not possible

iLogicAuto.GetNamedEntities(oDoc)

I can give a face or edge a name through ilogic code in the flatpattern in sheetmetalcompdef. but the names are only visible in the unfolded section. This is a big problem for me. Can autodesk fix this?

It's possibly better to create an idea on the "Inventor Ideas" forum. In the meantime, you can read some blog posts I wrote. I did have the same issue with assemblies. I expect that you can use the same technique for sheet metal flat patterns. http://www.hjalte.nl/?start=11
