Are attributes not implemented in ApprenticeServer

I'm developing a Vault add-in that needs to read information from Inventor documents stored in a folder. I wanted to avoid using a full Inventor instance, and as far as I know, Inventor Server is not available for Vault add-ins. Because of that, I'm using ApprenticeServer.

Inside a function, I have the following code:

var sheetCollection = doc.AttributeManager.FindObjects(); var sheets = sheetCollection.Cast<Sheet>();

My understanding is that FindObjects() should return all objects that have attributes assigned to them (not just sheets). However, the collection is empty. No objects are returned, and no exception is thrown.

When I run the same code in an iLogic rule, FindObjects() returns 79 objects, so something is clearly behaving differently.

As an additional test, I tried:

var attSets = doc.Sheets[1].AttributeSets;

To my surprise, this throws the following exception:

"Not implemented (0x80004001 (E_NOTIMPL))"

It is my first time working with the ApprenticeServer but i cant imagen that this is not implemented. Therfore I guess that i did some thing wrong. Can any one tell me what could cause this (or that it's realy not implemented)

This is my first time working with ApprenticeServer, but I find it hard to believe that attribute access is not implemented. Because of that, I suspect I may be doing something wrong.

Can anyone confirm whether AttributeManager and AttributeSets are supported when using ApprenticeServer, or point out what might be causing this behavior?

i have refrenced inventor like this im my project file:

I did some additional test.

var attSets = doc.AttributeSets; attSets = doc.Sheets[1].AttributeSets;

I don't get an exception online 1. wich tells me that attributes are supported.

however i still get the exception "Not implemented (0x80004001 (E_NOTIMPL))" on the 2e line. Therfore I come to the conclusion that attributes are not supported for sheets.
