Inventor Welcome page

Hi all,

How do I go about customizing the Inventor 'Welcome Page'?

It looks like a simple enough HTML page in disguise, so I'm assuming it can be customized.

Any suggestions?

There is no API exposed to customized that welcome dialog, sorry for the bad news.

Phillipe,

I wasn't expecting to find it exposed to the API, but I expect there to be a local reference to an Autodesk HTML page (or maybe even a local HTML page incase web access isn't available). There must be a way to edit this reference so it redirects to a new page, or replace the local page...

I too am interested in this. I don't have the time or I would dig deeper into it.

You may start looking in the resources in one of the following dlls.

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2013\Bin\AdWindows.dll"

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2013\Bin\en-US\AdWindows.resources.dll"

Please share your findings.

The one that had me most interested was:

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2013\Bin\en-US\WelcomeScreenRes.dll"

But I'm not sure what to do with it...
