Thanks Andrew,

I do get one selectable point at the CG of the solid used to generate the mass. However, if the solid is disabled, in order to idealize it with the mass, its point cannot be used for the rigid body generation.

Is there a workaround or I am not getting the whole idea about joining automatic concentrated masses with rigid connectors?

Regards,

Rogelio

Hello guys,

How can I join a concentrated mass with rigid connectors if the connector select point does not allow the mass selection? The mass was created with the automatic option and it does not look like a vertex or point was automatically generated at the center of gravity of the base solid.

Kind regards,

Rogelio

Hi Rogelio,

While the filter for selection in the concentrated mass creation screen is vertices, you can also select a work point that can be generated automatically when generating a rigid body connector in Nastran In-CAD 2017. I admit this can be a bit confusing!

Regards,
Andrew
