Error in template files

when i want to create some part or make some assy, there is an error like in picture. i try to find the location of the template and ask my friend why this is happened. but nobody know. please help me, what should i do to fix it.

all templates are going error, not Standard (mm).ipt only like in the picture.

hope you have any solution in my case. thanks you very much

Where have your templates come from?

Did they work previously?

Has somebody opened them in a newer version and upgraded them?

You could try opening a file that works, deleting everything out of it and saving that in your templates folder to see if the same thing happens.

I got the template together with when I installed the software inventor for the first time.

previously they worked normally. then something like that happened. so I tried to install the lower version of the inventor program, namely the 2013 version, the 2017 version and the 2018 version which I've tried to install after deleting the 2019 version of course.

however all three versions I tried to install had the same occurrence.

but I once had a part file that I created with Standard(mm).ipt
can I use the part file instead of the template?
How do I change the part file so that it can replace the error template?

Inventor is not backwards compatible, if you saved in a later version of the software you will not be able to access them in earlier versions

You need to reinstall 2019 to get 2019 templates.

Anything you created in a newer version of inventor or any files that have been opened in a newer version of inventor will not be openable in 2019.

If you are using a newer version you can try opening the template files on their own (not creating a new file) and then saving them to upgrade the templates to the current version.

Do you need to be working in 2019 or was that just part of your troubleshooting?

I feel like I haven't been clear with this.

If you need to work in 2019, your templates should be in:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor 2019\Templates

If they're not, or you have inadvertently upgraded them to a newer version, you will need to reinstall Inventor 2019.

Bare in mind that files that have been opened and migrated to a newer version won't open properly in 2019 anymore.

If you actually want to work in a newer version such as 2022, just install that version and start using it.

If you have a part file with a model in it or a drawing with stuff in that is working, you can just delete this information out and save that as a template file. You can use 'save copy as template' from the file menu.
