Radius / Manual Dimn

Hello All,

How can I produce the R 985 dimn that is shown on the attached screen shot ?

I am producing details that have to match ACAD details. ACAD is very flexible when annotating.

While I am at it. Is there no REv Cloud option available in Inventor. If not there should be.

You can't, you can only change the terminator (arrowhead) and not the origin of the line.

Unfortunately you can't edit the centre point style either to be a dot because you could have applied that over the top.

Rev cloud is not available yet I don't think, but there's this:

It's not exactly the appearance you're asking for, but the Jogged option shows a foreshortened-looking radius dimension:

It does not comply with ASME drafting standards, but it's better than nothing.

Hello All,

Thanks for your responses. I ended up "eye balling" a horizontal leader and typing text in. :-0

An option to "explode" the dimensions so you can manually work them would be good for the odd times you need a "custom" dimension. Don't suppose that's ever going to happen though.

I'll try the Rev Cloud Add In. Thanks.

Cant believe its not a standard thing.

You don't need to "type the text in"-- you can at least insert a parameter from the model (add a reference dimension to the model if you need to) that will update with changes to the model.
