All,

In my case, I do have MS Excel 2007 64 bit installed. Also, because of the problem that I'm having with 2022, I re-installed 2021. There isn't an issue with 2021. I have already saved some complex components created in 2021 into 2022. Now I can't go back to 2021 with those parts and assemblies. This problem exists on my system with both iParts and also iAssemblies.

A full "local" install of Microsoft Excel is required to be installed for Inventor..

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/inventor/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/System-requirements-for-Autodesk-Inventor-2022.html

Start excel too and make sure its working properly after installation.

If you continue to have problems please state the version of Inventor you are using as well as the version of Windows and Excel.

Hi! Briand is right. Inventor does require Excel.exe (64-bit preferred) to be installed on the same machine to leverage some Excel dependent workflows (iPart/iAssembly, table-driven iFeature).

Another thing to consider is to re-register Excel.exe. Find the Excel.exe on your machine and type the command with "/install" keyword at the end.

Or, uninstall Office 365 and reinstall it. Make sure it is the 64-bit version.

Many thanks!

Hello everyone,

I am encountering the same 'Failed to Export Desel Table' error. Could this be due to using WPS Office instead of Microsoft Excel?

Thanks in Advance

Bhadresh

Hi! It could be. What release of Inventor are you running? Table related workflows in Inventor do require Excel.exe installed on the same machine. Starting from 2025, Inventor also supports LibreOffice 7.2. I don't believe WPS Office is supported. Please install Excel.

Many thanks!
