Hi all

I would be greatfull for any base-user tips, to export a Material Library from Inventor to an Excel sheet?

I can not find the way to export it...I need to have several people to look at it, and then make some changes and import it again...

Best regards

Michael

What do you mean by 'library' and what information?

Sorry, I missed to say its a Material Library 🙂
I just edited it...

I need to change some naming of materials, and import and make a new material library.

Try this to get a list of materials.

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-forum/inventor-2014-export-material-library-as-list/m-p/6209146/highlight/true#M584402

I think what you really want to do is create a copy of the library on your hard drive.

Rename it.

Add this to your project file.

Do all the edits you want inside inventor.

If you only need a few, you can just create a new library in Inventor.

Drag the old materials into the new library
