Hi! I believe you are looking for Pivot Orbit. In the same tab, shown in your image, expand the dialog and scroll down to the bottom. Check "Use nearest model point for orbit" and hit Ok. To enable Pivot Orbit, press Shift + Mid Mouse button.

Many thanks!

Hi everyone. Is there a way to make Inventor orbit the view like Revit does?

I've tried switching the orbit type to constrained, but it doesn't seem to change anything.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for your respose, but that is not what I want. The problem here is I don't want the model go up and down when in orbit mode

Hi! I am not exactly sure what you are looking for. Try this and see if it helps. Set Orbit type to Constrained Orbit and make sure the model is placed at the center of the orbit circle. Does it work better now? Another possibility is that the geometry is far away from the origin or there is a piece of small geometry located far away from the model. You may want to make the far away geometry invisible.

Many thanks!
