Rendering a part with an image on it?

Hi all,

How do I render an part that has an image placed onto it?

I want the image to be part of the render but it disappears as soon as I select ray tracing.

Did you attach the image with the decal command?

Once the sketch is done you must use decal to attach it.

If the image is washed out when rendering, or faint, it is because the surface you applied it to is too glossy.

You can either edit the glossiness in the appearance library, or use a different appearance.
