topic RVT Export issues in Inventor Forum

While using the RVT export from Inventor I've come across some issues with it in Revit.

- It seems like the main assembly becomes a family and the components become types within this family. I'm wondering what the reasoning behind this is.

- The family appears to have become a system family, so it's not editable and it doesn't show up in the browser either. Again, I'm wondering what the reasoning behind this is and also if it will ever be made editable to the Revit user.

- When replacing a component in inventor there seems to be a bug when updating the existing RVT export instead of making a new RVT export. I explain this further in the attached pdf. I also included the Inventor and Revit files should they be needed to understand my issue.

- In my example at the end I created a new export, with a new name, this works. But I just noticed if I create a new export with the same name, and the rvt file still exists it will have the same issue. If I delete the rvt file first and then create a new export with the same name everything is fine again.
