I already knew that I could block all of those things, but I was unaware of the exception that blocking does not work when editing the appearance of a particular face.
It's right?

Hello.
I'm not used to working with design views, but I have come across behavior in 2022 release that seems suspiciously strange to me.
In fact, I would say it is an issue.
When I edit and adjust the orientation of a texture individually or apply this texture only to one face of the model, this modification happens to the rest of the design views even if they are locked.
Is this the expected behavior?

Thank you in advance.

Same behavior for me in 2020.4. It looks like this is how it should work by design. Same thing happens with Model States in 2022, if you color in one the rest is changed.

If you look in your appearance library, when you rotate a texture like that, it actually creates a new version of the appearance and applies that instead.

The view rep doesn't save overidden face styles it just saves the overall appearance.

Because you have changed the angle of the texture you have overridden that face with a new texture and therefore it's the same on all views.

Maybe, so what is the use of blocking the view? I don´t understan this.

Do you mean locking? You can lock the overall appearance for each view.

You can also lock the actual angle of the camera, plus lock the visibility of parts when used in an assembly which is very useful for drawings to stop new parts wrecking your layouts.

You can also override appearances of parts at assembly level.

Yes, you would have to change the angle of the texture in the appearance editor and apply that new texture (or edited one) to the part with the appearance dropdown, using the colour editor overrides the face and the view rep only saves overall appearances.
