Pre-Callout Balloons?

Is it possible to pre-name parts in the assembly folder to have the balloons/parts list in the drawing follow?

Partlist and balloons are showing the iproperies of the components. So what do you mean with prenaming? filling in the iproperties values?
Normaly you create an assembly, add or create parts, then use the billofmaterial to set all required iproperties, when creating a drawing simply place partlist and balloons, these will read the properties from your files.

Say you have 10 parts. By default the balloons will go 1-10. Is there a way to re-name the balloon identification numbers in the part/assembly side so that 1 will show CF2 and balloon 2 will show VFZ1A etc?

I know you can change them by the parts lists in the drawing space and by individual balloon.

You can set/overide it in the Bill of material.

It is possible to edit the balloon style to show different component iproperties. So you could set up your balloons to show the Part Number iproprerty or the File Name iprop.
