Inventor export font issues

Hi there,
When exporting - as well as printing - a pdf from Inventor Professional 2022, the font does look like it has not been possible to find it in the font in the library. The same issue appears on all other fonts as well.

In my IDW drawing it looks like this:

When exporting pdf it looks like this:

In the Style Editor the font shows up as Tahoma

In the Windows font library the font Tahoma ttf is looking fine.

I have been looking pretty much around for a solution, but I simply can not find it.

Hope that someone in here will be able to help me.

Hi,

I cannot reproduce this issue. I am using I2022.2 and edge as pdf reader.

Hi! Yes, this is a known issue on 2022. Many thanks to @n_Sovljanski for confirming the fix on 2022.2 update! Please install 2022.2.

Hi Johnson,

i´get this problem with a vault jobprocessor machine in 2025.4.1 which do the job with the InventorServer.exe

Is it possible to get a fix for InventorServer also?

There used to be a way with some pdf "printers" to "Print As Image" so that it wouldn't try to interpret all the text, but I guess this is a way to get get more people to pay for more fonts.

Hi Michael,

I am not sure if your issue is the same as the OP's issue. The original issue should have been fixed in 2022.2 update. It should be in Inventor Server 2023 already. Since you are using Inventor 2025 and Vault 2025, the fix should be available in Inventor Server 2025.

Please feel free to escalate the issue with Autodesk Product Support and demand a fix.
