If you draw the triangle shape (including the sheet metal gap) - then Contour Flange will make the part in one feature.

Or if you want a triangular tube, Extrude as a surface and thicken.

The Flange tool won't make that flange in one click because it forms an 'impossible' to unfold shape.

I, too, cannot tell whether you are trying to create a flange at each end, or a flange the length of the model which would create a triangular tube. In either case, though, the Face tool will do what you're asking. Sketch the shape you want, and use Face to create that shape face, and you can then select adjacent edges to apply bends. Here is how it looks for the triangular tube:

I can post the file if you wish, but you haven't told us what version of Inventor you're using.

Just remember that creating this shape will not allow you to make a flat pattern for manufacture. There must always be a gap in the metal so it can be unfolded. You can use a cut or the rip feature for this.

If you do not need to unfold it, you are probably better off doing an extrusion, fillet and then using shell to remove the internal material.

If you want to unfold it later you can just use the rip feature and then get a flat pattern.

Here is the triangular tube file in 2022 format. As @n_Sovljanski pointed out, this cannot be flattened without adding a Rip feature.
