Design View Model and Drawing Updating Issues

Inventor Pro 2023

After design view model was updated with turning on one more equipment visibility and saved, the related drawing with a few views were not updated, it had to manually turn on the added equipment for each individual view.

Were the drawing views supposed to be updated automatically after the design view model was updated?

Right-click on the bounding box of the drawing view and make sure the view is associatively linked to the correct ViewRep of the model. You will see a little icon of a broken chain; make sure its box has the check mark displayed so it stays associative when you update the model.

Hi! Yes, as Mitchell mentioned here, as long as the associative box is checked, the drawing view should be in sync with the design view. If it is not happening, it will be a bug. Please share the files that exhibit the behavior here or send them to me (johnson.shiue@autodesk.com) directly. I would like to understand the behavior better.

"Double click" the view and Check the box as above.
