Hello, I have a problem with dimensions while importing AutoCAD DWG file to inventor. As you can see on attached screenshots - the dimension 10 971 becames 277 962... and imported sketch is a lot bigger in inventor than dwg file in autocad. It happen to me all the time. Please help me to find the solution for this problem. Thanks

Hi! This could happen due to several settings. Try this real quick. Open the dwg file in AutoCAD and type in "MEASUREMENT" command. Is it set to 1 or 0? It needs to be set to 1.

If it still does not help, the blocks might have additional scaling applied. Check DWGUNITS and make sure it is in sync with what you are intended to use in Inventor.

Set INSUNITS, INSUNITSDEFSOURCE, and INSUNITSDEFTARGET to 0.

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Blocks-xrefs-or-raster-images-are-scaled-when-inserted.html

Please share the dwg file if it still does not work.

Many thanks!

Double check on how your exporting the sheet. Use "Model Space" and not "Layout Scale" to force the title block and everything else to rescale to the model true dims. A lot of people don't do the drawing sheets properly to make the dim's 1:1. As Shoe has stated check how the *.dwg is opened in cad if my previous statement doesn't help.
