Hi! This is a known issue (reported as INVGEN-56967). It has been fixed on an internal build targeting 2022.3 update, which is coming live soon.

Many thanks!

I recently downloaded Inventor 2022 and have been using the model states feature. However I am finding that I cannot organize the bill of material in some assemblies and I cant figure out why. Before when I had everything in iParts or Assemblies, you could reorder every part in the BOM. I was just wondering if this is just how model states act, or if I am missing something along the way. To make it more confusing, it seems like you can move some parts or assemblies but cannot move others. And once you get to a part that will not be allowed to be moved around, the entire bill seems to act up. You will move a part up in the BOM and it will move a part completely unrelated. I know that sounds like a crazy issue but I attached one of the assemblies, a small one, this is happening on large ones as well, hoping it will act up on one of your guys end as well. I'd hope that using model states doesn't get rid of the bill of material and I have to go back to iparts.
