Hi! Two things to check.

1. Does the assembly reference part files in the same name but stored in a different folder? For example, you have ASMB -> Sub1 -> PartA (in file folder A) + Sub2 -> PartA (in file folder B). The two PartA files arre stored in different folders but the are both PartA.ipt.

This will lead to incorrect STEP export due to name collision. Inventor supports duplicate files but STEP does not.

2. Does the assembly contain assembly features or weldment? We have a regression in 2022. An assembly with assembly features or weldment is not properly exported to STEP. It should have been fixed on the just released 2022.3 update. Please install it and report back.

Many thanks!
