topic Re-orient derived part (like in Fusion) in Inventor Forum

Coming from Fusion 360, I struggle with deriving parts in Inventor.
For example, in Fusion I would derive a 1mm long extrusion of an aluminium profile and immediately rotate it and move it into place using point-to-point movements in the dialog that automatically comes up when deriving. How do I do this in Inventor (2020)?
Free move only gives me realtive movement. I tried using direct edit, but wasn't able to recreate a point-to-point-like maneuver. How do I go about this?
