Any ideas?? TIA

You can use the sculpt feature to get the inside volume. You will need to create surfaces on the inside of the bowl. If you don't already have them, you can use the thicken command with a zero offset and an output of surface to get them. Then you will need to create a boundary patch using the top edge of the bowl to enclose it. Then use the sculpt feature and select the boundary patch and the inside surfaces and output a new solid.

thanks for the reply. I didnt have any surfaces so I used the thicken command. What do you mean by output of surface to get them?

When you use the Thicken command you need to set the output to a surface. This will generate the surfaces you need.

You can RMB on the new solid and select properties to get the volume for just that solid. Then you can change the height dimension, update the part and go back to the properties to see the effect.
