Measure Window Displays Values in Huge Columns

Hello!

I'm using Inventor 2022 64-Bit, Build 287, Release 2022.2.2

I'm experiencing an unusual issue. Whenever I utilize the measure tool, regardless of environment, the values displayed are shown in gigantic columns. The values are sometimes difficult to read and the window itself is humongous. Does anyone know of a way to customize the size of the value columns within the Measure dialog window?

Did this just start happening or has always happened?

Have you tried restarting your computer?

Have you adjusted Windows DPI/Scaling/Resolution settings lately?

Hi mcgyver,

This issue has just popped up. I've never seen this before in my 5+ years of Inventor use lol.
I've tried restarting my computer, but that didn't alleviate the issue.
I haven't messed with any Windows DPI/Scaling/Resolution settings recently.
I'm at a loss as to what could cause this.

Update: I just turned off dual units and turned it back on, and the issue has resolved itself.

Hi Jonathan,

This could be DPI related. Somehow the dialog was not scaled properly. Please try a few things. Change display resolution and scale to recommended setting. Right-click on Inventor icon -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Change High DPI settings -> check both boxes. If it still happens, you may need to add a system variable.

Thanks for the insight! I haven't made any changes to DPI recently, but I will utilize these steps in the future, should the issue arise again. Fortunately, turning dual units off and on again seemed to fix the issue.
