Splitted lines not showing on the drawing

Hello,

In my 3D Part model, I have used split lines for esthetic purposes. Namely, it looks like that model is an assembly built of different parts when in the reality it is not. Just a Part with split lines on it and different colors also defined by those split lines.

However, on the drawing, I can not see these split lines. I have no idea why.

It is also an iPart with different configurations if that matters.

If anybody knows, please let me know,

Attach *.ipt file and *.dwg or *.idw file here for diagnosis.

Make sure that you have Tangent Edges on Display Options enabled.

Hi JDMather,

I have attached an example. I would love to see split lines on the drawing because in that way it would look as if the model is built out of different parts. If I click Style -> Shadow I see colors but not the lines. And I do not print it with colors.

As JD pointed out, you just need to edit the master view and include Tangent Edges. Because the projection (in this sample) has its style derived from the base view, it will inherit the same change (cannot change on projected views alone that have that option still on).
