How do I prevent adaptivity from turning on?

Hi,

How can I prevent parts from getting adaptive?

I mean turn it off totally.

Now when I want to project something on to a sketch in the part from assembly level, this part gets adaptive by default.

But I do not want that. This is just to slow.

So I than have to turn adaptivity off manually, many levels, what is rather tedious and time consuming.

So I am wondering, is there a way to just not allow parts to become adaptive.

Did the option "Features are initially adaptive" get enabled somehow? (App options > Assembly tab)

No, it is off.

I think this option make everything adaptive by default on creation.

Not sure if there is an option to disable that since more than likely that is a requirement if modifying a part at the assy level and you need to depend on something outside the part .ipt file.

Try different setting in "Cross part geometry projection"
