Draft Feature

I need to apply a draft feature to a solid body. I couldn't pick the faces. When I hover the cursor over a required surface it selects whole body.

How to select required faces?

Normally you can only select faces in a draft feature. Depending on model, automatic chained faces can look like you select a solid. Is this option disabled?

Can you share some screenshot or your model, that would make is easier to help.

try to do this action earlier in the model three, so move you end of part and try to add the draft face before all details.

i think @theo.bot is right, it looks to me like there are small fillets wich can't be formed after the draft.

I don't know your other design constraints and assuming injection molding/die casting, but...

Why are you splitting the mold in that direction? It seems like that will produce two mold halves and three slides, with one slide at the parting line.

A simpler tool may be possible by making the parting surface the base of the wedge, and using a single slide to make the round pin holes.

If you are sand casting, then the suggested parting line seems reasonable.

I tend to put my draft features very early in the model tree and add all the fillets and chamfers once the basic shape is established. I will add rounds and chamfers before a shell shell feature if necessary.

Yes, Theo is right. You should have created the draft much earlier on the main shape before the detail features were added. The detail features cannot be drafted easily. Usually, those features should be the last to add.
