You just have something still set incorrectly in that specific style. I can easily swap between different styles and the overall box and font changes accordingly..

And yes there are some advantages to not being as strict about style enforcement as Solidworks does.. and some cons too..

All you need is multiple text styles and multiple parts list styles calling out those different text styles and everything should update accordingly when swapping through each one using the dropdown I show above. If not then check those styles to ensure they are setup correctly and truly calling out different font sizes.

Is there a way to scale the BOM box to fit the smaller drawing sheets? The BOM seems to be sized for a C or D sheet but is way too big for an A sheet. Grip edit doesn't seem to work because the shape of the box changes but not the font size.

In your Styles Manager, you can edit or create a new Parts List style for the different-sized drawing sheets. Keep in mind that, out of the box, there is only one style and it uses the only text style. This means that you may need to create both a new Parts List style AND a new Text style which it uses.

Create these in your drawing templates, and don't forget to assign them using Object Defaults. You could have one style for each different page size if needed. It takes some practice but offers you a lot of flexibility to come up with your own Parts Lists.

I managed to create a new parts list and text sizes in the style editor. The parts list inserted is the same as before, too big because there doesn't seem to be a way to choose which BOM format to use. I don't think that you can insert a parts list without a model in a drawing or template.

A simpler solution seems to be use the larger sheets with increased size model then print the result to a smaller paper size.

Thanks for the help
