Hello, I want to use the role I drew like a cam.

1- how to make a surface known as surface1 into a single piece.

2- how to convert lines to splines.

I am not sure I follow but you could thicken the surface and toggle the surface to be not visible afterwards. Could you explain more on what you want to achieve as using extrude would be more efficient

Surface 1 is a single surface. Inventor only sees one object when I select it with the Stitch tool.

Inventor will not hide the lines at the at the tangent edges.

Is your goal to have a G2 curvature at each direction change?

I don't believe that there is a tool to convert lines or arcs to splines. Instead I would create a new sketch, and trace the geometry with the spline tool.

Typically "Translational" constraint will do cam/follower type movements.

You have a Spring Force.

Environments>Dynamic Simulation 2D Contact Joint and Spring Force Joint.

(Same as SolidWorks Advanced Motion.)
