Hi!

Is it possible to make component or part which takes dimensions when i show 2 different planes?

For example - hanger pipe. I would like to add hanger pipe into closet. I would show central point, then left and right planes, and hanger pipe will take automatically inner lenght of closet.

If someone can help me, i am very thankful! 🙂

Hi!

If you have those planes inside a part, you just need to extrude Between those plane, instead of an input value.

If you want a parametric model that changes parts based on the geral dimensions, you can have adaptative parts, linking parameters between parts, etc etc... there's a lot of options and ways to do that.

If you could post here the files with the specific case we could take a look on that.
