You might've run into a bug with the update. I know a lot of people don't want to hear this, but when it comes to updates (especially for production machines) it is often best not to update right away unless you require a new feature or experiencing a problem that is resolved by the update. Some people have this overpowering need to always be on the latest and greatest version without any logical reasoning. And then when it breaks, they can no longer do their jobs.

As an IT professional for nearly 25 years, I have found that simply blocking updates altogether and only installing them as prerequisites when absolutely necessary has saved 99% of all of my daily woes when it comes to software behavior. The mantra remains true -- If it is not broke, don't fix it.

Hi! I am not aware of an issue like this. If you uninstall 2023.1 update, will it work then?

Many thanks!

Solved: Re: Bug with Content Center Library in 2023.1 - Autodesk Community

Might be related?

@TravisNave that's sound advice. The problem is when you install a patch to fix one thing and it breaks another. You then have to decide which broken feature you can live with. Not really ideal when a large company needs IT to push updates to everyone and many staff are using different features.

I really wish this fear of updating didn't exist.. it's why we have people still using old versions and that doesn't work out well when you can't open files from one version of Inventor to the next and work on them.
